Unique and eye catching challenge

Located in Carinlea the new playground at Elford Green Reserve is an eye-catching unit designed to tick all the boxes. Brimbank City Council engaged adventure+ to design the new play space as part of their playground upgrade project. Working closely with the council our designers were able to put together a design that features two towering platforms connected by a net bridge to create a unique look to the playground.

Colourful community playground designed to challenge and engage all ages

Packed with play value

While the play space is relatively small, it includes a lot of play value to make it a real attraction to the local community. The space features a double tower play unit which includes a connecting rope bridge, tube slide, rock wall, climbing cube, flying fox, activity panels and other activities.

This playground is designed to cater for children of all ages with the upper levels of the playground suited to senior children and the lower levels including less challenging activities for younger children. Featuring over 15 different play components in the play unit, plus an inclusive spinner, swings and straddle rocker, this playground design provides hours of fun.

Colour as a design element

The use of timber guardrails and bright orange accents, combined with a splash of multi-coloured blue rubber undersurfacing gives the space a warm and exciting vibe. This modern look gives the playground a quirky feel and makes it an appealing architectural statement.

It’s fantastic to see more new and upgraded parks and playgrounds in Brimbank – all helping to beautify our neighbourhoods and create greener and cooler public spaces.
